Swap-Bot and how I handle my swaps...

Getting swaps together is so much fun for me!  I get to go through my stash and see what all kinds of goodies I can find so share with fellow swappers -

-This is a portion that I have copied from my Swap- Bot profile -

Ok - I have finally figured out a plan of action when I have alot of swaps on my dash. This may also help you, so I wanted to share. I write each swap down on a sheet of paper and next to it write the deadline date. I start at the top of the page (since they're already in order anyway) and work my way down. Even though some are profile based swaps, you can get everything together for that swap and have it ready to go. I write on the back of the envie what the swap is and those go in one pile. I have a basket that has already addressed swaps in that need to go to the post office. Once the partners are assigned, all I have to do is include the profile goodies, write a little note that I have already put in the envie, seal it and go! I had roughly 18 swaps and a handful of RAKS that I did in 4 hours tonight. I'm kinda proud of myself!! Hope my system makes sense to you - if you have any questions, please ask! Thanks for reading!

To me, it makes sense.

Here's an example:

PVT Swap w/ Jill - due Aug 1
PVT swap w/Brandy - due Aug 5
School ATC - due Aug 12

and so on and so forth.....When I get one done, I cross it off my list.  Of course I cross reference my list to the dashboard on Swap Bot as well.

I don't know why I didn't think of this before!  LOL

Probably because I have never done this many swaps at one time.  But, now that I know I can do it and do it efficiently  there is no way I'm going back now!  So, watch out!

Surgery.......and recovery......

Ok - My surgery was two weeks ago tomorrow - I've had the cath in for almost two weeks - One week to go.  Jill and her girls came over on Wednesday of last week and Jason went Friday to pick up her husband.  We crafted just a little and I tried to rest.  Friday night, Tammie and Shawn came over Friday night and Shawn helped do some housework - he's such a good house husband.  LOL  Sunday, Jason cooked ribs - They were really good.  Brandy and Larry came over Sunday.  So did Susan!!!  She's taking care of me this week while Jason's out of town in New Hampshire.  I'm not having to do a thing!!  Susan is awesome!!  Jason will be home tomorrow and Susan is leaving Saturday.  I'm not going to know what to do being here by myself next week!  I go to the doctor on August the 5th to get the cath out and I am so excited!!!  Wow - What a thing to be excited about, huh?

Home again gigity gig

We made it home safe and sound.  Miss Susan and Chuck already!

After we got home Jason put together my bookcase fit my craft room and it looks awesome!  He says there isn't any more room for anything else in there!  Lol

Heading to Birmingham in the morning to pick Elizabeth up!

Heading home from spending time with friends ....

We had a wonderful weekend full of shopping, eating, and just a fun time!

Susan and I went all over the place Saturday..Daphne....Spanish Fort .... We shopped till we dropped!

Sunday Susan, her husband Chuck, Jason and I spent the day at the outlets in Foley.  Jason of course had to go to the kitchen stores!  I think hes worse than me!  Susan found a ton of double walled cupids with lids for super cheap.  I did the majority of my shopping on Saturday ..... But I did find some super cute Auburn flip flops!

We had a delicious dinner at PapRoccos!  Then headed to the beach so I could put my toes in the sand!

Can't wait till our next trip!
